Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using OLP Monitor, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform. Use of the Platform by educational institutions is governed by a separate institutional agreement.

2. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate, current information during registration.
• Accounts are created through institutional affiliation and require school code verification.
• Student accounts for minors require parental or guardian consent.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
• Sharing registration numbers or login credentials is strictly prohibited.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use OLP Monitor exclusively for legitimate educational purposes. You may not: attempt to access other users' data without authorization, tamper with grades or academic records, use the Platform for any illegal activity, or reverse-engineer any part of the system.

4. Academic Data Integrity

All academic records entered into OLP Monitor are subject to verification by authorized personnel (Headteachers, KNEC, KEMIS). Falsification of academic data may result in account suspension and referral to relevant authorities under Kenyan education law.

5. Fee Payments

Fee payments processed through M-Pesa are subject to Safaricom's terms of service. OLP Monitor acts as a facilitator and is not liable for payment delays caused by third-party systems. All transactions are logged in an immutable audit trail.

6. Intellectual Property

The OLP Monitor platform, including its design, code, and educational frameworks, is the intellectual property of OLP Monitor. Content uploaded by users (assessments, reports) remains the property of the respective institutions.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be retained according to Kenya's education record retention requirements.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes shall be resolved through the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.
