OLP Monitor ("we", "our", or "the Platform") is committed to protecting the privacy of all users, including students, parents, teachers, and education officials. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data in compliance with Kenya's Data Protection Act (2019) and international best practices.

2. Data We Collect

• Personal Information: Name, email, phone number, registration number, school affiliation.
• Academic Records: Grades, competency assessments, CBC pathway declarations, attendance records.
• Financial Data: Fee payment records, M-Pesa transaction references (processed via Safaricom Daraja API).
• Usage Data: Login timestamps, pages visited, browser type, and IP address.
• Child Data: For students under 18, we collect data with institutional and parental consent as required under Kenyan law.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and maintain the OLP Monitor education platform.
• To enable CBC competency tracking, grading, and pathway guidance.
• To process fee payments and generate financial reports for schools.
• To comply with KEMIS, KNEC, and KICD reporting requirements.
• To improve system performance and user experience.

4. Data Protection

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Access is role-based and audited. We do not sell personal data to third parties. Data is stored on servers within East Africa with regular backups.

5. Your Rights
